Eager to check out the new Kardashian Collection, I raced to my nearest Sears. Is that where I am going?
What a surreal feeling to be going into Sears to shop for clothes. I think of that store when I need a new washer or dryer, but not the latest style must-haves! To my surprise, the collection was laid out nicely. Of course it would be-it’s the Kardashian name!
The collection was smaller than I thought it would be, as some pieces on-line I could not find in the store. The first impression the line reminded me of was New York style. The majority of the collection was either black or dark in color (grey or dark blue). I rounded up a few pieces that grabbed my attention & headed to the dressing rooms.
My review:
Blazers: LOVE the sequined cropped blazer. Good fit-so perfect for holiday parties! The blazer with the pointed shoulder pads were a little extreme for me. They look great on Kim, so I’ll let her showcase that look.
Shoes: Very high! BUT, a few were wearable (for the time I wore them in the store). I really liked the Miami leopard shoe. The bow is super cute and the mesh worked with the style.
Overall Best: The Romper. So comfortable and slinky. A perfect travel wear outfit or dress up with heels for a night out.
Overall Downer: Handbags-This is a personal choice since I am trying to downsize my carrying bags. The bags in the collection were too oversized for my current style but would purchase one of the clutches. If you crave oversized bags, then this collection is for you!
My store did not carry the accessory line, but they look amaze on line!
Overall Thoughts: I will definitely be back! As soon as the romper goes on sale (I’m savvy!), I am returning to purchase. What to wear with it? The Miami Leopard heels of course!
